All-new QX55 Ready To Take Center Stage

Curtains will be raised on the much-awaited INFINITI QX55 on November 11 via Social Media! The QX55 heralds INFINITI’s return to the luxury crossover coupe segment which it created almost a couple decades ago.

Although the styling hasn’t been fully revealed, the teaser photos promises the QX55 will be a crafty addition to INFINITI’s lineup. It’s visual elements and roofline are said to be inspired by the iconic INFINITI FX with the versatility of a premium crossover and radical dynamics of a sport coupe.

The QX55 will also feature an impressive list of innovative technologies designed to help you stay connected to your content, conversations and navigation, no matter where you are on the road.

Although INFINITI is still mum on QX55’s powertrain details, it’s highly likely the luxury crossover coupe will borrow the variable compression turbocharged 2.0-litre  four-cylinder found in the QX50. We can also expect a continuously variable transmission and standard front-wheel or available all-wheel drive.

At the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California last year, Mike Colleran, Infiniti Motor Company’s Deputy Chairman, said, “The Infiniti QX55 is a stunning new SUV coupe in the heart of one of the industry’s fastest-growing segments, globally.” He added, “Customers will appreciate the distinctive design of the QX55 which features a sporty coupe-like roofline. We know customers and retailers are eagerly looking forward to the QX55 which will be available next year.” 

Under the direction of Alfonso Albaisa, Global Design Director, INFINITI has given priority to ensure bolder designs in its new models and has become part of the company culture. The QX55 is bound to be an embodiment of that message.

The all-new luxury crossover coupe is expected to arrive in showrooms across North America in spring 2021 and will be first of many new products INFINITI is planning to launch in the coming years.
